Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Daily liaison with the artist and diary management
  • Screen phone calls, enquiries, and requests, and handle them when appropriate
  • Manage travel coordination including visas and accommodation, and occasional travel with the artist
  • Site visits
  • Household and personal management including personal tax, car insurance
  • Management of payment runs in liaison with Studio Manager
  • Reconciliation of invoices in liaison with Studio Manager
  • In charge of keeping up studio supplies and general upkeep of studio space
  • Management of events/parties in liaison with Studio Manager
  • Management of construction projects, purchasing property, and home improvement
  • Assisting with project management in liaison with Studio Manager
  • Assisting with archival duties in liaison with Archive team
  • Undertaking research with other team members when needed

Skills & Experience Required

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Previous experience working for an artist or as an artist liaison
  • Good technological competence
  • Willing to travel when necessary
  • Passion for contemporary art
  • Ideally have driver’s license and car
  • Ability to break down problems and have a clear line of communication
