Our client is on the hunt for a driven and experienced sales leader to spearhead the European growth of their innovative auction SaaS product, and expand their media partnerships with major clients worldwide. Based in London and reporting directly to the Global Sales Director, this senior role is key to their international expansion – targeting new markets across Europe and the US for their product, and securing larger, high-value media accounts for the company.
They’re looking for someone who lives and breathes sales – an energetic, persuasive negotiator with a proven track record of closing deals, building strong client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate should thrive on travel, love networking, and be passionate about growing brands in new territories. This is the most senior commercial role under the Global Sales Director and will be instrumental in shaping the next phase of their growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the expansion of the product’s presence across new markets in Europe and the US, as well as grow the client’s global media partnerships with high-value, strategic accounts.
- Design and execute ambitious sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets, with a strong focus on new business and long-term growth.
- Actively source, approach, and convert high-potential clients – balancing proactive outreach with efficient handling of inbound opportunities.
- Understand the unique needs and challenges of each prospect, crafting tailored proposals that deliver real value and align with their business goals.
- Lead complex contract negotiations and pricing discussions, consistently aiming to close high-quality deals that maximize revenue and long-term potential.
- Develop deep expertise in the company’s full suite of offerings – including their SaaS and media solutions – and effectively communicate their benefits to senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Deliver high-impact sales presentations, live demos, and bespoke proposals; experience in tools like Figma is a plus for crafting polished, visually compelling materials.
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
- Keep your sales pipeline sharp and current by tracking leads, touchpoints, and deal progress in Salesforce.
- Stay ahead of market trends, competitive activity, and industry developments to identify emerging opportunities and refine strategy.
- Collaborate closely with the broader sales team on shared initiatives and cross-market campaigns, contributing leadership and insight.
- Provide clear, data-driven forecasts to the Global Sales Director, maintaining full visibility on sales performance and pipeline health.
- Work with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless client experience from first contact through onboarding and beyond.
- Tackle client challenges with professionalism and creativity – always solution-oriented and relationship-focused.
- Represent company’s values and culture in everything you do – both internally and as a face of the brand in the market
Skills & Attributes:
- A results-driven mindset with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Solid B2B sales experience, ideally in a SaaS context.
- Strong commercial awareness and a solid understanding of industry dynamics and market trends.
- Technically adept, with the ability to grasp and clearly communicate complex SaaS solutions.
- Excellent negotiation and closing abilities, with a confident, solutions-focused approach.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in additional European languages is a strong plus.
- Proficiency with CRM and sales tools such as Salesforce.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- Provable strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
- Comfortable working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
Salary: DOE plus competitive commission structure
Location: London, UK (This role is hybrid, 3 days onsite)
