We are on the hunt for an intern to join the LWAI team and assist with various tasks that include social media management and administration.
Responsibilities
- Updating social media on a regular basis with arts or recruitment articles, current jobs, and LWAI Picks
- Proactively engaging strategies to grow and better engage social media audience
- Composing and sending quarterly newsletters to mailing list
- Keeping up to date with art and recruitment industry news and trends, identifying potential clients and new opportunities
- Keeping track of all upcoming art fairs, identifying and contacting exhibitors
- Sourcing and contacting potential clients listing job openings on arts boards
- Adding new candidates to database and updating contact details, LinkedIn profiles and tags
- Updating and maintaining Slack with active roles, search progress and interested candidates
- Providing ad hoc administrative and technical support to the Director as required
Person Specification
- Previous experience working in a similar role
- Good understanding of the art world
- Excellent administrative skills
- Attention to detail
- Tech savvy, with good computer literacy
- Well-versed in current social media channels, especially Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a small team
- Able to use initiative within the framework provided
- A demonstrable interest in arts and culture
Salary: £9/hour
Role will be mostly remote
