Our client is a young and ambitious, specialist logistics company spanning across Fine Art, Relocations, and Interior Design services. They are rapidly expanding within the UK and doubled in size in 2020.
To continue to grow and meet the exacting standards of their clients, they are looking for a Shipping Coordinator to join their team.
Responsibilities:

- Work closely with clients to understand the specific needs of their international shipments
- Provide sound, knowledgeable advice, planning and executing shipments by road, air, and sea to precise specifications
- Coordinate with partners, agents, and internal departments to ensure the exacting requirements of each shipment are met
- Responsibly manage costings and budgets
- Accurately advise clients on import and export guidelines
- Travel internationally for art fairs and specialist projects
Candidate Specifications:
- Previous experience in a fine art shipping role with a logistics company, gallery, or auction house
- Ability to provide world-class customer service
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients, agents, and colleagues
- Excellent organisation and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of shipping documentation
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
