Our client, a contemporary art gallery that presents exceptional artists from around the world, with the inaugural space in central London, is seeking to find an experience ed and motivated Head of Sales. The Gallery presents up-to-date and highly curated exhibitions, with a specific focus on Women and POC artists.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing the Gallery’s sales strategy along with the Gallery Director.
  • Initiating ways to enhance sales and profitability of the Gallery.
  • Introducing new client relationships to the Gallery and maintaining established relationships in collaboration with Directors.
  • Driving sales for Gallery artists on the primary market.
  • Bringing in consignments of work for sale on the secondary market and driving secondary market sales.
  • Leading weekly sales meetings to update the team of prospective and settled business.
  • Representing the Gallery at art fairs and exhibitions across the UK and globally.
  • Identifying, reporting and maximising on business opportunities in target markets.
  • Attending high profile networking events, entertaining clients outside of usual Gallery hours and travelling where necessary to enhance client development.
  • Liaising with the Gallery Director, Gallery Assistant, and Senior Management Team to ensure smooth operations of the Gallery.
