We are on the hunt for a Facilities Manager to work with a Large Gallery in London.
Overview
One of the world’s leading commercial art galleries, our client represents a selection of renowned international artists across a programme of Contemporary, Impressionist and Pop Art exhibiting at its flagship locations in London.
Reporting to the CEO, the Facilities Manager will take ownership of all the Gallery buildings and offices maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and services throughout reflective of our client’s core brand objectives.
Job Specification
- Management of the maintenance and space operation of all buildings in London, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times
- Management of on-site Security and Cleaning team
- Ensure health and safety legislation is adhered to liaising as necessary with key members of staff
- Regular maintenance of all hospitality facilities and supplies, ensuring the galleries are adequately stocked with hospitality supplies at all times
- Review and management of all back of house, office and plant areas to ensure highly presentable, safe and comfortable working spaces for all staff and clients
- Please note this is not a gallery assistant or greeting role, but has a facilities, building management and maintenance focus.
Essential Requirements
- Considerable experience within the hospitality sector, with exceptionally high standards, gained in either a 5* hotel/high end restaurant/private members club environment only.
- Exemplary standard of personal presentation
- Excellent communicator at all levels
- Proactive, thorough, with extremely strong attention to detail
- Willing to roll up sleeves and solve problems, no job too big or small e.g. changing lightbulbs and minor facilities repairs
- Must live a commutable distance to Central London
