Our client is an artist-centric Contemporary Art Gallery in Fitzrovia. They are seeking a part or full time Communications Coordinator to handle the gallery’s social media, outreach, and exhibition-related campaigns.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
· Owning the gallery’s social media accounts and developing strategies to increase gallery and artist awareness and engagement
· Creating compelling content for all social media sites
· Monitoring and responding to engagement on social media posts
· Overseeing mailers and newsletters and proof-reading literature
· Liaising with the Exhibition Manager to develop an effective communications strategy to promote exhibitions
· Speaking with press to promote exhibitions

- Excellent written and spoken English
- Great attention to detail
- Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Experience in social media marketing/management and the development of creative content

- Strong art research skills

- Ability to be proactive and multitask
