The role of Consultant or Administrator is to support Lacey and the business in the next stage in its development. This is a varied role that requires a proactive and highly organised individual with proven administrative experience, efficient time management skills and an excellent standard of attention to detail. As well as being able to work independently with plenty of initiative and ideas for optimising processes and efficiency, the ideal candidate will be adept at supporting colleagues and have a strong level of emotional intelligence, a good sense of judgement and first-rate people skills. The role will have responsibility for sourcing and communicating with candidates for national and international roles, maintaining systems and processes, as well as overseeing social media and marketing efforts.
Responsibilities:

- Using the database, LinkedIn, and professional networks to source candidates for active roles
- Reaching out to relevant candidates for recommendations for active roles
- Acting as the principle point of contact and support for candidates throughout the recruitment process
- Meeting and interviewing candidates in person or virtually to discuss their experience and suitability for active roles; advising on career routes, progression and opportunities
- Providing a redacted CV and points on each candidate’s suitability to be submitted to the client
- Briefing candidate on role and recruitment process and scheduling interview times
- Managing and developing candidate relationships, following up with updates on recruitment process and providing constructive feedback on applications
- Representing LWAI at key industry events, conferences and open days
- Adding new candidates to database and updating contact details, LinkedIn profiles and tags
- Updating and maintaining Slack with active roles, search progress and interested candidates
- Providing ad hoc administrative and technical support to the Director as required
Person Specification
- Educated to degree level
- Previous experience working in a similar administrative role
- Experience working in recruitment or interviewing desirable
- Good understanding of the art world
- Excellent administrative and organisation skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise a number of varied tasks and multiple deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Tech savvy, with good computer literacy
- A natural administrator, who genuinely enjoys and takes pride in organisational efficiency
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a small team
- Able to use initiative within the framework provided
- A dynamic, positive and genuine “people person” with a good sense of humour
- Able to see the big picture and work towards business goals
- Sensitive to the high level of confidentiality and discretion necessary
- A high level of emotional intelligence, tact and diplomacy
- A demonstrable interest in arts and culture
