Our client is a large-scale studio and production team founded by an internationally established Artist. They are looking for a hands-on Studio Manager to come and join their busy Studio in central London. An exciting opportunity for a pro-active and experienced Studio Manager to step in and be responsible for all assigning resources and managing operations to meet company requirements. The critical challenge is to develop an efficient operation with a flexible and responsive team that gets the job done. You will be confident in delegating, structuring, and managing 20 to 30 people in the studio. You do not have to be from an art background, but knowledge of the arts and exposure to production or warehouse management experience is desirable.
Key responsibilities:
- People management: Setting targets and objectives, inspire and motivate, monitor activities, coaching and mentoring.
- Resource management: assign appropriate resources to meet company requirements, control studio expenditure within defined budgets.
Required skills and experience:
- Experience of running teams in a fast-moving research & development, first-off, prototype environment
- Able to demonstrate significant achievements in career-to-date.
