Founded in 2016, our client is a next generation Pawnbroking company based in the City of London operating from private offices rather than a traditional shopfront. Their bespoke peer-to-peer lending platform enables consumers and small businesses to borrow from other individuals, with the loan being secured against luxury personal and business assets. The company has enjoyed strong year on year growth and are now seeking to expand their team. Authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, our client pride themselves on an ethical and professional approach with the assets they lend against ranging from Luxury watches, Art, Gold, Diamond, Cars, Fine Wine and more besides the company has a small team largely working under their own initiative with excellent systems and mentoring as back up and have a friendly, hard-working approach but respect the importance of work life balance.
Key tasks:
- Dealing with prospective customer enquiries via the phone, internet and face to face providing excellent and fast service to convert them to happy clients.
- Working with our Network of asset experts to ensure the correct valuation and authenticity of any goods being pledged to the loan.
- Maintaining up-to-date and accurate records of relevant activities.
- Speaking with existing loan customers to answer queries and ensure timely payments around loan renewals and redemptions according to the loan agreement.
Requirements:
- You will have 1+ years of experience, ideally with an auction-house, luxury goods retailer or asset lending business. But full training will be given and your attention to detail and ability to execute efficient and reliable admin will be key even if you don’t have this background.
- You will have a keen interest in luxury assets and be used to handling valuable objects.
- You will be able to demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to deal with clients and their goods with the utmost respect.
- You will be IT literate, organised and process-driven.
Location: London Office with the opportunity for remote working 2 days a week
Salary: £28k-£32K DOA
