Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Daily liaison with the artist and diary management
- Screen phone calls, enquiries, and requests, and handle them when appropriate
- Manage travel coordination including visas and accommodation, and occasional travel with the artist
- Site visits
- Household and personal management including personal tax, car insurance
- Management of payment runs in liaison with Studio Manager
- Reconciliation of invoices in liaison with Studio Manager
- In charge of keeping up studio supplies and general upkeep of studio space
- Management of events/parties in liaison with Studio Manager
- Management of construction projects, purchasing property, and home improvement
- Assisting with project management in liaison with Studio Manager
- Assisting with archival duties in liaison with Archive team
- Undertaking research with other team members when needed
Skills & Experience Required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous experience working for an artist or as an artist liaison
- Good technological competence
- Willing to travel when necessary
- Passion for contemporary art
- Ideally have driver’s license and car
- Ability to break down problems and have a clear line of communication
