Our client is a Gallery that specializes in Photography and presents both emerging artists as well as established photographers. The Founder is also a software developer and has developed an inventory management system for Photography Galleries which is also used by Artists.

Role Specifications
- Sales of artworks
- Business development
- Contribute to meet gallery min yearly target of EU 600K
- Sell Inventory Management System to galleries and artists
- Role has potential to step up to Director level
- Represent the gallery at Fairs
- Contribute to the program of the Gallery
- Role will include financial controlling/bookkeeping; this part of the role will be replaced with a bookkeeper in time
Candidate Specifications
- Speak German at professional working level
- Needs to have a good knowledge of Photography market
- Understanding of both commercial and conceptual Photography
- Good network in the art world, developed client base is a plus
- Interested in digital technology
- Candidate needs to be able to work in Germany
The Candidate must live in or near Cologne or be willing to move there. The candidate can work from home but will need to be able to be at the gallery when needed.
Salary: DOE EU 25k-48k + commission (flexible)
Start date: July at the latest but could be earlier
