Asia is seeking an experienced PR and Marketing Professional to join its London team. The ideal candidate will have 5–10+ years of experience in a similar role within a commercial gallery environment, a deep understanding of the global art world, and a strong track record of generating impactful press coverage.

Main responsibilities:
The role will be focused on developing and building out press and communication strategy across the three spaces of the gallery (UK, USA, West Asia) via publications (physical and online) and social media channels (IG, Facebook, X and LinkedIn).
– Work on strategic coverage of individual exhibitions across the 3 spaces, specific artist profiles and gallery profiling.
– Work on strategic media partnerships for specific projects (internal or external involving gallery artists).
– Develop and oversee effective communication of the gallery (centralised via London) of upcoming news (institutional acquisitions, internal and external exhibitions), expanding on the outreach via newsletter send-outs and social media (mainly via Artlogic).
– Oversee updated and proof-read content is released to the public on.
– Point of contact for all press enquiries.
Other responsibilities may include:
– Overseeing the design of promotional materials ahead of exhibitions and events (invitations, brochures) to ensure the identity of the gallery is recognisable and consistent.
– Hold monthly reviews with relevant staff members (social media campaign, Google and Artlogic analytics), to assess audience growth and engagement and ensure the press & comms strategy is adhered to.
– Oversee SEOs are being worked on to optimise gallery visibility and organic search the gallery.
Requirements:
– At least 5 year experience in commercial contemporary gallery in a similar position.
– Good knowledge of Artlogic, social media channels, InDesign and Adobe Pro.
– Experience with Muckrack for journalist and press outreach is a plus.

Salary: £50k+
