Our client is recruiting for a Social & Digital Lead to join their team. They are looking for a creative, socially-native superstar who will manage all digital channels. The candidate’s aim will be to drive awareness and reach for the brand, exhibitions, events and artists. You will report into the Marketing Director and liaise regularly with colleagues across the business.

Key responsibilities

Social 

  • Drive growth of social media channels 
  • Manage and activate the social calendar 
  • Manage daily activity on all social platforms, including posting, replying to comments and DMs, and engaging with relevant communities (community management)
  • Advise on what tools are needed to bring our efforts forward 
  • Create an appropriate tone of voice per channel
  • Support on influencer partnerships and content collaborations
  • Assist with posting content on artists’ social media channels when required
  • Create campaigns for artists, events and exhibitions
  • Collaborate with our artists to grow their profile and reach
  • Evaluation and reporting
  • Work with the Video Content Lead to create  platform-appropriate, scroll-stopping content 
  • Stay informed on emerging trends, tools, and best practices across platforms, suggesting new content ideas and formats

Digital Marketing

  • Manage the digital ad agency on social advertising
  • Generate creative for digital ads
  • Evaluation and reporting

Website

  • Manage website content, refreshes, scheduling and developments 
  • Create and manage exhibition, artists pages and news pages

Key Requirements:

  • You love all things art
  • You are a storyteller
  • You are an energetic, self-starter and looking for an opportunity to make an impact
  • You have solid prior experience in a similar role – minimum 4-5 years
  • You have experience in overseeing campaigns and projects – please provide examples of content and campaigns including metrics
  • Good experience with tools for content creation, social management and CMS
  • You are creative, proactive with a good sense of how to communicate about art
  • You are detail-oriented and thrive in dynamic and fast-paced working environments
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • You are a strong team player and comfortable working in matrix environments
  • You understand current social trends, platform features, and audience behaviours
  • Experience using Artlogic CMS or similar platforms is an advantage
