Our client is currently looking for a Marketing Manager who will be responsible for building the profile of their artists globally, creating marketing campaigns for events, exhibitions and special projects as well as the galleries and brand.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the coordination, planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns which may include digital, print, email, editorial content, social media, events, photoshoots, and ad hoc projects.
The MM will report into the Marketing Director and liaise regularly with colleagues across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan the marketing calendar in support of the gallery’s artists, other galleries, events and exhibitions
- Brief and manage in-house writers for press releases, editorial features, and other written marketing content
- Support the Marketing & Events Coordinator with website updates via Artlogic, including uploading artworks, uploading editorial content, and creating exhibition pages
- Work closely with the press agency to maintain year-round momentum for artist profiles, briefing them on any relevant news, activities, or opportunities outside of exhibitions to maximise media coverage
- Coordinate marketing communications for private views and key events, collaborating with graphic design on evite assets and sending personalised Mailchimp invitations to the targeted guest lists
- Liaise with external vendors for events, including catering and sound production, ensuring smooth execution
- Manage influencer outreach and relationships, identifying key influencers and working with them to promote events, exhibitions, and artist profiles
- Manage the production and scheduling of the weekly marketing email via Mailchimp, ensuring content is accurate, visually engaging, and aligned with current campaigns
- Work on other projects to bring the marketing team forward such as adding new CRM and digital tools
- Analyse results of campaigns across all channels, reporting back to key stakeholders

- Be a self-starter, and looking for an opportunity to make a big impact
- Have solid prior experience in a similar role – minimum 5 years
- Have strong writing skills and experience in overseeing campaigns and projects (once shortlisted, the candidate will be required to provide examples of content and campaigns including metrics)
- Be creative, proactive with a good sense of how to communicate about art
- Be detail-oriented and thrive in dynamic and fast-paced working environments
- Possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Be a strong team player and comfortable working in matrix environments.
