Experience, Qualifications, & Education:

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, able to build a book of business, have strong sales skills, able to build meaningful long-term relationships, possess a knowledge and passion for fine art and art history, and understand the sales process in a luxury retail setting.

  • Analyze and prepare sales forecasts and reports

Basic Function & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure each client receives outstanding and exceptional service by providing a welcoming and friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every client, maintaining impeccable standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of Client Service before, during, and after sales.
  • Proactively build and maintain a book of business through calls, email, and other specific CRM initiatives.
  • Enhance relationships and drive business through consistent follow-up and in-person visits.
  • Meet and exceed team and individual sales goals.
  • Remain current on client, industry, and competitor news.
  • Proficient and accurate use of CRM.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, in accordance with the gallery’s dress code and grooming standards; be a positive role model, representing the brand appropriately at all times.
  • Assist with special projects, as needed.
  • Other duties, as needed or directed by the Owners.

Reporting Relationships:

  • The Fine Art Sales Consultant will report directly to the Owners of the gallery.

Compensation & Benefits:

The compensation package will consist of a base salary plus bonus structure that will be determined, in part, by the successful candidate’s level of professional experience.
