This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday. Candidate can work remotely or in the office/studio in East London. You may be required to work occasional long hours and weekends. The studio is a high pressure environment and business is expanding.
Daily scheduling and briefing the artist on meetings and appointments, where necessary relaying relevant dates with team.
Answering all incoming telephone calls in an efficient and friendly manner and shielding calls when necessary.
Completing or assigning research as required for artworks, including auction estimates, auction results, public and private collections.
Managing personal expenses, personal accounts, processing invoices, and handling any other personal finance related matters.
Managing remittance of days and movements.
Booking and managing all travel arrangements including taxis, chauffeurs, hotels, restaurants any other travel related business.
Liaising with other private entities to ensure all records are up to date
Handle all admin across business – bookkeeping, sales agreements, transport, supplies, be initial point of contact
Manage all incoming post and distribution accordingly, as well coordination of FedEx etc, and other related movements.
Coordination of office supplies (Amazon, etc.) and kitchen supplies (Ocado etc.)
Managing contracts with Telecommunications vendors, problem shooting and coordination of conference calls
Proactive management of general maintenance
Exhibition and event management
Coordination of all studio events, including openings, private receptions, discussions etc.
Coordination of the email blasts and postal mail outs of hard-copy invitations and catalogues.
Maintain the studio’s contact database and online email system, updating with new contacts, positions, interests; logging significant artwork offers (client and price), correspondence or visits.
The team is currently the artist and one other who has been handling everything and would now like to offload.
