The job requires a team player who is highly organised in their approach, has an excellent understanding of digital and social media strategy, and a track record in establishing client relationships and delivering brilliant results. The candidate must have a strong experience of directing high-level social media strategy and campaigns and be an exceptional thinker who will bring in real gravitas and expertise to the company. A proven track record in leadership and an ability to train, guide and motivate a team made up of Managers and Executives is essential. A passion for visual arts is required. Duties and responsibilities:
Managing Department

  • Director to the digital team managing the entirety of digital services across all clients Building and developing digital services within the agency
  • Manage, lead, motivate and inspire the digital and social media team (E.g.
  • Deputy Director, Content Manager, Digital Media Executive)
  • Work closely with all clients and account teams across the agency
  • Empower the staff to feed into social media strategies and lead internal training across the company
  • Work with the Board to develop a strategy to grow the digital and social media team and identify new revenue streams
  • Act as a thought leader and representative within the agency and the clients for social media, media, tech and marketing trends along with social media cultural moments
  • Lead on proposals and pitches to new business clients
  • Be the driver and gatekeeper of all deliverables from the digital and social team, ensuring all client work is of the highest standard

Social Media Strategy

  • Develop and deliver compelling, professional, evidence-based social media strategies that build awareness, increase audience engagement and drive conversions with clear and actionable recommendations
  • Ensure that strategies are based on relevant insights, utilising data to support the development of strategic and creative recommendations
  • Lead brainstorms and the development of creative ideas, content strategy and deliverables
  • Ensure the agency is creating innovative digital and social media strategies that have a genuine impact on our clients’ brand and business
  • Define performance metrics and monitor results to optimise performance
  • Manage on the ground social media strategy and delivery across exhibitions, art fairs, biennials and launches
  • Manage, select and collaborate with freelancers and external partners for services that support client digital requirements
  • Leading “knowledge transfer” training with clients

Insights and Paid Campaigns

  • Lead the delivery of social media insights reports such as social media audits, campaign monitoring and competitor benchmarking
  • Create paid media strategies and oversee the development and optimisation of all paid media campaigns
  • Develop and deliver KPI recommendations and performance reports to clients

Location: London with 3 days in the office and 2 days hybrid/working from home

Salary: £50k-£70k DOE
