We are looking for an Assistant for a Director at a major London Contemporary gallery. This role will have a PA angle. 

SUMMARY OF ROLE:
Admin:
? Daily management of to-do list and schedule: set daily priorities and goals
? Monitor incoming/outgoing emails and calls, assist in ensuring these are followed-up appropriately
? Print and prepare materials for gallery viewings, offers, meetings, and other occasions as needed
? Coordinate all travel and prepare travel itineraries; act as point person when Director is out of office
? Manage expenses by creating reports and compiling receipts

Sales:
? Manage post-sale client correspondence: communicate with clients regarding purchases and delivery instructions, send invoices, provide clients with images/catalogues/press relating to sales, as needed.
? Monitor incoming payments
? Liaise with client and communicate delivery instructions and also work with registration department to arrange shipment/delivery of artworks; ensure client is kept up-to-date on delivery schedule
? Ensure all client requests are addressed and met in a timely manner (ie. condition report requests, special delivery requests, re-framing requests, etc.)
? Liaise with Registration/Photography/Production departments regarding logistical aspects for consignment of secondary market artwork
? Ensure client & Director are kept up-to-date at all times regarding sales of primary and secondary market artwork

Artist Management:
? Assist First Assistant with general management of artists as required with projects such as:
? Exhibitions, both in gallery spaces and at outside venues
? Press requests
? Image and publication requests, both internal and external
? General studio requests
? Events relating to Director’s artists

Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 10.00 – 18.00
Salary: c. £25-28k, dependent on experience.
