Established over ten years ago, this agency is renowned for working with global arts and luxury organisations. They are now looking for new team members at Account Manager, Senior Account Manager and Account Director levels.



Account Managers and Senior Account Managers work closely to support Account Directors ensuring that the strategy and campaigns agreed with their Directors are developed and followed through. Account Managers deal with the day-to-day relationship with clients, drafting releases, managing approval processes, pitching to journalists, managing logistics, securing press coverage and managing Account Executives.

The Account Director is responsible for successfully leading campaigns for clients and for the overall management of their account team. The Account Director plays an important role in the Company by developing good relations with senior media contacts, providing excellent strategic advice to existing clients, helping to secure new business and ensuring the highest standards are met.

AM/SAM Job Spec:

PR and Media Campaigns

  • Develops and actions press and PR plans, within budget and within agreed media targets to deliver maximum impact and positive messaging
  • Develops and actions social media plans
  • Drafts and oversees issue of press materials
  • Liaises with client to sign off on images
  • Regularly meets and pitches to journalists and places coverage
  • Oversees updating of press campaigns, monitoring and chasing up coverage
  • Ensures feedback to Account Director and inter-team communication at all times
  • Approves listings text
  • Sets up and attends journalist meetings with colleagues as appropriate
  • Coordinates and supervises interviews / photo-calls / media events
  • Drafts guest-lists for events
  • Manages account administration
  • Provides a fast, helpful and efficient response to all media enquiries and takes advice from Account Director or Director as appropriate
  • Ensures successful cross-company pitches to key target journalists through proper and timely coordination of information across the teams
  • Has and builds a good network of well-placed media contacts
  • Keeps up to date with media outlets, who is writing what so that the campaigns are as effective as possible
  • Regularly updates teams on any intel they come across when reading eg. articles of interest, new writers or redesigns of publications

Client Management and Reporting

  • Is the main point of contact for clients and manages day-to-day relationship with client
  • Proactively informs client of campaign developments
  • Ensures press cuttings are issued to clients promptly
  • Coordinates media campaigns to keep stakeholders / other PRs informed and ensures messaging is consistent
  • Has a good understanding of strategic communications and corporate positioning and can prepare briefing documents and advise clients accordingly
  • Writes project debrief reports
  • Proposes new business opportunities with existing clients in consultation with Director
  • Acts as a spokesperson when necessary
  • Has excellent presentation skills
  • Writes AVE reports as required

 Team Management

–     Manages team members efficiently, ensuring they are trained in all relevant areas of their work

–     Updates line manager and / or Director regularly on progress and flags any issues or concerns promptly

Additional Responsibilities

  • Acts as an ambassador for the Company and a role model for junior staff
  • Attends Manager meetings
  • Manages AE time as required
  • Deputises for Account Director/Director as required
  • Emergency contact on rotation
  • Ensures website is updated with new team and client details
  • Attends client and non-client events regularly
  • Communicates with other teams to ensure joined-up Company communication
  • Assists with pitches to potential clients
  • Performs any other task as required by Chief Executive, Managing Director, Director or Account Director
  • Sends media and VIP database contacts to nominated person

AD Job Spec:

PR and Media Campaigns

–        Devises media campaigns and oversees their implementation – ensuring objectives are met on campaign

–        Secures a broad range of media coverage as required

–        Approves press releases and other written material for the press

–        Meets senior journalists regularly and ensures cross-company pitching

–        Leads on the planning and preparation for events and oversees them

  • Keeps up to date with the media landscape so that the campaigns are as effective as possible
  • Regularly updates teams on any intel they come across when meeting journalists or reading eg. articles of interest, new writers or redesigns of publications

Client Management

–        Management of all senior level client communication and reporting with minimal input from Director, Chief Executive / Managing Director

–        Advises on overall campaign and corporate strategy

–        Retains an overview of all client campaigns and ensures projects are driven forward

–        Crisis management when necessary

–        Drafts and liaises with clients on key messaging and Q+As

–        Briefs senior clients as required before events

–        Attends events

–        Prepares for and attends monthly client meetings and ensures notes are circulated

–        Oversees social media campaigns or social media elements of other campaigns

Team Management

–        Runs team efficiently and profitably

–        Works with their Director on the recruitment, development and training of staff including attending staff reviews, setting objectives and the         development of staff specialisms

–      Updates Director regularly on progress and flags any issues or concerns promptly

New Business (not applicable to AMs and SAMs)

–        Ensures clients’ needs are met and accounts are retained / developed

–        Brings in appropriate new business

–        Agrees details for invoicing and contracts with the clients and briefs the Operations team

–        Generates and converts new business leads

–        Writes proposals and attends pitches

–        Networks to identify potential new business leads including attending non-client events

Additional Responsibilities

–        Emergency contact on monthly rotation

–        Ensuring company standards and professionalism are met by team

–        Performs any other task as required by Director, Chief Executive or Managing Director

–        Communicates with other teams to ensure joined-up pitching cross-company and group communication

–        Suggests improvements to office systems to the Operations Team

–        Sends new contacts to relevant person (for the media and VIP databases)

–        Attends regular Senior Team Meetings
